“Classic tailoring with a nostalgic influence”
Marion Murphy-Cooney is an award winning Irish designer based in Nenagh, Co.Tipperary.
My awards include County enterprise awards and V.I.P. style best dressed when TV3’s Lorraine Keane wore my commissioned piece.
The range is for women who have an eye for beautiful classic tailoring, with a nostalgic influence.
I design with an individual look for women in mind I incorporate beautiful colours, texture and prints in my collections.
I am not a slave to trends and create classic collectable affordable pieces for women to enjoy for many seasons.
“My aim as a designer is to create beautiful pieces for women of all shapes and sizes, and to make the women who wear them feel as beautiful as the designs are. Many customers comment on how wearable the garments are and how many compliments they receive while wearing them, this makes my designing all worthwhile for me as I feel I have achieved my goal as a designer”
“Each season I strive to do better than the last, by trying to improve on my previous range”.
I have over ten years experience in the fashion industry and am a former student of Limerick School of Art and Design and consider corsetry to be a specialty of mine.
I create a capsule collection each season and also do commission pieces which are made to order.
I have also been working in Irish media circles dressing TV3’s stylish ‘Expose’ ladies and also the ladies ‘Ireland Am’ and not forgetting TG4’s Maura Durrane.
Recently I have been working on costume pieces for an up and coming Irish Film called ‘Eden’ which has been nominated at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival Awards.
Marion Murphy-Cooney range is exclusively available from my Nenagh Studio, where I offer client consultations in my private studios.
The range is also available in selected boutiques Nationwide and purchases can be made online.
